Jul 19th, 2010 - Success!
We had an absolute blast at Moe's on Friday! Thanks so much to Moe's, Other Side of Clearview, Take to the Oars (fka Vonnegut), Beer Clothing Company and Oskar Blues Brewery for making it all happen and most of all to to everyone who come out and had a good time with us! We'll see you again soon...
Our brothers in Other Side of Clearview are taking an indefinite hiatus while a couple of the members seek new musical opportunities. The band isn't quite ready to officially call it quits just yet but they will not be recording or performing together in the near future (with the exception of a possible "farewell" recording as a gift to fans). We used to practice next door to these fine lads yesteryear when we lived in Fort Collins and have been performing alongside several of their members for 7 years! We wish all of them the best of luck in their pursuits. Their "last" show will be on Saturday, August 14th at Road 34 in Fort Collins. We highly recommend you check it out!
We're in the final stages of moving out of our current house and practice studio! Following which we'll be begin digging deep into pre-production for our next record and book a show or two. Stay tuned and keep in touch!

Vices I Admire
Jul 12th, 2010 - Lifestyles of the broke and relatively unknown!
Hello cyber world! Not unlike puberty, Vices I Admire will be going through some changes very soon. There will be hair on the band where there was none before, our voices will re-crack, and we'll spend too much time in the bathroom. Well, hmmm, I guess none of that is a change. But we've lived under the same roof for the past 6 years and have created music in our humble abode's basement since the dawn of time. Come August 1st we are spreading our wings and taking a baby step towards "adulthood". For better or worse we are dispersing across the city in an effort to curtail the era of finishing one another's sentences and/or terrible jokes, mouse trap related injuries and the organic creatures that occupy our fridge.
With all the living quarters and practice space hunting and pre-production for our upcoming project (which we'll record sometime in the Fall - stay tuned) we simply don't have the time or energy to rock your socks off all summer long.
So come to our show on Friday, July 16th at Moe's BBQ! We'll be playing some new tunes we plan to record for our new record and some oldies. It's only $5 and anyone over 16 years of age is welcome to attend. Doors open at 8:30 and the show starts at 9pm sharp. Our good friends in Take to the Oars (formerly Vonnegut) and Otherside of Clearview will be joining us. We have man-crushes on several members of both bands so the giggling and tickling level shall be high. Plus, they are both pretty killer bands if we do say so ourselves. Check 'em out on your fancy phone connected to the interweb. Pre-sale tickets are available at http://www.moesdenver.com. Also, we've got Oskar Blues Brewing Company and BeerClothingCo.com supporting our show, which we find quite fitting. Vices I Admire and fermented beverages go together like McDonalds breakfast and indigestion. Either way, word up to these guys for helping the show out and going so well with a bbq.
As always, email us with any questions, creepy photos or death threats at band AT vicesiadmire.com. Thanks for always supporting what we do, it validates the fact that we've all still got jobs we could have gotten with GEDs.
Vices I Admire
Jul 8th, 2010 - Things they are a changin'
We have received numerous complaints of people loosing sleep while wondering where the good lookin' chaps in Vices I Admire have been and what they have been up to lately. We would like to take a moment to remind you to mind your own damn business and trust that we are three chapters away from completing our group jazzercize video. Once completed our firm buttocks will be unstoppable and we will most certainly obtain a most favorable record deal.
In the meantime (they really can't expect you to finish those last chapters without several beer breaks, right?) we are gearing up for our first show in quite a while. It's next Saturday, July 16th at Moe's. Our good friends in Take to the Oars (formerly Vonnegut) and Other Side of Clearview will be joining us in what will be our last performance in Denver for quite a while. Why, you ask? For the first time in our band's history we will not be living with one another and we are quite busy moving into our new residences and moving our practice studio. Read all about the show, our impending steps towards adulthood and the move at our shows page.
We hope to see all of your smiling faces at the show!
