Apr 20th, 2010 - Got it wrong

News in the Vices world? Well...Mark won tickets to see Them Crooked Vultures, and I was lucky enough to get the other ticket. We experienced some musicians who know what they hell they're doing do their thing.

Our roomate Brian is buying a house. So when the lease on this house ends we'll all live in the 2nd bedroom of his 2 bedroom house to cut down on rent. Now our girlfriends and one night stands (depending on who you are in the band) will soon have to share 1 mattress thrown on the floor! Or, maybe we'll find our own places.

We're charting on college radio stations around the world. KLCR and WSIN radio.southernct.edu./ have us in their top 30 albums! Iowa and Southern Connecticut digs them some VIA! Practice comes near, so I'm down to the basement, have a good one!

Apr 5th, 2010 -

Get ready for this Saturday, April 10th @ Casselman’s (2620 Walnut St)!  After months of working on 3 new videos, 3 new songs, and battling through the Westword’s battle of the bands, our very good friends in Yerkish are finally ready to give their fans the pinnacle of their multi-media madness! Yerkish is a very talented group of musicians, check ’em out in our top friends if you haven’t heard ’em. We’re honored to help them celebrate the completion of such a project (and a bit pissed they set the bar so damned high and make us look like a bunch of slouches... just sayin’... take a day or 6 off). The band 19 A.D.D. will also be performing at the show. Pre-sale tickets are available at www.casselmans.com. A "free" copy of Yerkish’s new disc "Quality" complete with the new music videos is included in your ticket purchase. Tickets are $10, and the show is 18+.

We are also excited to play Road 34 (1213 W Elizabeth St, Fort Collins, CO 80521) in Fort Collins for the first time in too damned long. Awesome food, good music and super cheap drinks = good times for all. Come join us! We’re playing with our new friends Common Anomaly. New tunes shall be on display. Hope to see all of you there! $5 and 21+.

Mickey is going to begin writing a column in our blog dedicated to reviewing the reviews our band/album has received. Stay tuned for details. For now read a couple of the more interesting reviews of our new record here and here.

Stay classy San Diego.

Feb 2nd, 2010 - R.I.P. Apara

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Mark's dog Apara. After a battle with vestibular disease, Apara has been laid to rest today. To say that she has been a close part of our lives since the start would be an understatement. She will be missed, but we know she loved her life and that she will continue wandering! RIP Apara!
