The Metropolitan State College of Denver has lulled us out of our recording based hibernation to perform at their annual Homecoming and Elections celebrations. We'll be performing in the commons area just outside the Tivoli Center alongside the homecoming parade and voting stations on Tuesday, February 15th at 4pm. If the weather does not cooperate we will be performing at St. Cajetan’s church on campus (yes, you read that correctly, it is possible we will perform in a church). If you attend Auraria campus or are looking for something to do on a Tuesday afternoon stop on by and check out the festivities!
We’re in the midst of recording and we’ll be performing all of the songs that will appear on our upcoming e.p. at the show!

- 3317 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80206 - MAP
- Vices I Admire, Politic, Monroe Monroe, All Capitals
- $10 w/out coupon / $5 w/ coupon - ALL AGES
Vices I Admire will be headlining the Bluebird Theater (3317 E. Colfax) on Saturday, December 11th, 2010. It will likely be the musical act's last show of the year, so it will be your duty and privilege to attend the event adorned in your finest velour hats, velvet wristbands, or assless leather chaps. AEG Live is presenting the musical performances of Vices I Admire and the bands Politic, Monroe Monroe and all capitals. Finding a more able and talented night of music would be a difficult charge, if a person were foolish enough to endeavor it. Perhaps Vices I Admire will even play a song or two that they plan to record and release to the public in the early months of 2011! Perhaps indeed!
The doors for this festive evening will be thrown open at the rocking hour of 7pm, and the trumpeting sounds of electric guitars and angelic screams will commence in theater's main chamber at 8pm. Men, women, and children of all ages are invited to attend for a modest fee of $10, unless you are wise enough to visit this link to receive a ticket "coupon" that, once printed and brought to the door, shall allow your entrance for a mere 5 dollars! For such a night of glory and wonder as of this, men have surely paid thousands upon thousands of dollars. We do hope you shall receive this invitation in good health, and we shall see you at the Bluebird Theater on December 11th in just as good of health. Good day to you.

Hodi's Half Note
- 167 N. College Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524 - MAP
- Autumn Burn, Vices I Admire, Glyphic, Immortal Dominion, Finding Nowhere
- $5 - Pre-sale, $7 - Day of show / All Ages
We are returning to Fort Collins on Halloween (Sun., Oct. 31st) to perform at Hodi’s Half Note with our pals in Autumn Burn. Glyphic, Immortal Dominion, and Finding Nowhere will also be performing at the show.
We have tallied your costume suggestions and have decided upon a group theme to satisfy the masses. Will it be another year of ambiguously gay, tights laden costumes? Or maybe skirts and lipstick will be involved? Perhaps ...we’ll actually go with the slightly offensive suggestion of Hanson (they were a 3 piece jerkface). Who knows? You’re going to have to come to the show to see how low we’ll actually go. All I can tell you is we tend to wear things we probably shouldn’t on Halloween and gosh darn it if we don’t look good in the process.
If seeing us in ridiculous outfits isn’t quite the motivation you’re looking for, we’ll also be performing music (in said ridiculous outfits)! We’re in all out writing/pre-production mode for our new project and we’ll be sharing some of our new ideas, like it or not. We’re pretty stoked about ‘em and would love to hear your input. The other bands on the bill are pretty awesome so it should be a great night of music.
So get back into that costume and end the weekend properly with a little bit of Vice inspired Halloween action.
The show starts at 7pm and we’ll take the stage at 9pm sharp. The show is open to all ages. More info is available at www.hodishalfnote.com.
Hit us up at band AT vicesiadmire.com with any questions or costume critique requests.

- $7 Advance - $10 Day of Show / 16+
We're returning to Moe's to take the stage with our friends in Skyfox! They are having a fundraiser to "get Matt (their bassist) head". It's not exactly what ya think... apparently the guy's in need of a new BASS head for his rig. But if you are feeling generous feel free to contribute in any fashion you would like. We're also stoked to work with 2 bands we have yet to perform with: Heart & Soul Radio and Faces of Radio. All of the bands are quite entertaining and good peoples!
This will most likely be one of our last shows before we retreat to the studio to work on a new record. Come check out some of the new tunes and give us your input!
This will be a great evening of music and a ton of fun. Pre-sale tickets are available for $7; it'll cost ya $10 at the door the day of the show. This one may sell out so get your tickets early; email us at band AT vicesiadmire.com and we'll throw some tickets in the mail for ya with no additional charge. Moe's
- 3295 S. Broadway, Englewood CO 80113 - MAP
- Vices I Admire, Take to the Oars (formerly Vonnegut), Other Side of Clearview
- $5 / 16+
We are VERY excited for this show and you don't want to miss it!
This will be our only performance in Denver for much of the summer. Lots of change is heading our way shortly. We've lived under the same roof for the past 6 years and have created music in our humble abode's basement since the dawn of time. Come August 1st we are spreading our wings and taking a baby step towards "adulthood". For better or worse we are dispersing across the city in an effort to curtail the era of finishing one another's sentences and/or terrible jokes, mouse trap related injuries and the organic creatures that occupy our fridge.
With all the living quarters and practice space hunting and pre-production for our upcoming project (which we'll record sometime in the Fall - stay tuned) we simply don't have the time or energy to rock your socks off all summer long.
So come to this show! We'll be playing some new tunes we plan to record for our new record and some oldies. It's only $5 and anyone over 16 years of age is welcome to attend. Doors open at 8:30 and the show starts at 9pm sharp. Our good friends in Take to the Oars (formerly Vonnegut) and Otherside of Clearview will be joining us. We have man-crushes on several members of both bands so the giggling and tickling level shall be high. Plus, they are both pretty killer bands if we do say so ourselves. Check 'em out on your fancy phone connected to the interweb. Pre-sale tickets are available at http://www.moesdenver.com.
As always, email us with any questions, creepy photos or death threats at band AT vicesiadmire.com.
